Here we are Ladies and Gentlemen, 2014 we made it. It is time to get this year off to the right start, so that means we need some Shenanigans! This week we bring you the best of the past with 1980's Star Wars Anime, the best of the Future with Robocop's CES presentation, and the best of both worlds with a kick to the head in Kung Fury. All of that awesomeness plus our Favorite Nerd rock star Smooth McGroove!

Speaking of Nostalgia how about some Star Wars. This short animated teaser is the stuff dreams are made of. It is so amazing in fact you will be mad that there isn't more of it. Taking notes from Voltron, Transformers, and Sailor Moon this may be the best Star Wars spoof ever! 1980's Star Wars Anime, so good you just might cry.
Omnicorp CES Presentation 2027
Robocop Viral Campaign
The Nerd community and the internet in general is no stranger to viral ad campaigns. Some are more successful than others, and some just plain suck. Robocop has just started a new viral ad campaign coming from the point of view of Omnicorp. I have to say tying it into CES was brilliant and the video they released this week really gets me excited for what else they have coming our way.
Kung Fury
Kickstarter Project Official Trailer
Need a daily dose of insanity, we got you covered. Kung Fury is a movie that is being funded through kickstarter and if it lives up to this trailer then I may never need to watch any other movie ever again. There is no way to adequately describe what goes on in this trailer so you just need to see it to understand. Be warned it is insane and awesome!
State of Syn
HULU's new SciFi series
Let me say a couple names Jewel Staite and David Hewlett, got your attention? Damn right I do. These two amazing actors are headlining the awesome new series coming to HULU called State of Syn. The first couple episodes are available online now so you need to check it out. This series has created a big world with an even bigger story and I can't wait to see the more. Check it out won't you?
